Hello, my name is Clarise and I am an FNTP Accredited Nutritional Therapist who helps individuals to live naturally longer and healthier lives.

Healing our bodies starts with the food we eat - food isn’t like medicine, it is medicine. 

In addition to optimising diet, I make use of ancient nutrition to aid the healing process. Utilising evidence-based wisdom from Ayurvedic, Greek and Traditional Chinese methods to support present-day knowledge. 

I enjoy helping individuals feel well again, overcoming their fatigue and finding relief from chronic symptoms. My goal is to help individuals live a longer better-quality life by guiding them through positive lifestyle changes.

Balance

 

Disease is not something you catch like a virus. It’s related to your environment and how that interacts with your genes and lifestyle to form your health. 

The body is a system and there are many mini systems within. When they get out of balance we get sick. When they are balanced, we are healthy.

Nutrition gap

 

Our food is not as nutrient dense as it once was. Intensive farming has stripped nutrients from our soil. Food then travels great distances to reach us, losing further nutrients.

Recent findings from population research carried out by the Government's nutritional advisory board has highlighted a Nutrition Gap, there are nutrient deficiencies in every group of the population.

Often we don’t show symptoms, we meet our nutritional needs to survive, however, we are not meeting our body’s needs for optimum health.

Diagnostic Testing

 

We are all unique and therefore need a health plan that fits our genetic make up. I will guide you through a series of diagnostic tests to help identify your ideal approach to health.

A food intolerance test will help identify inflammatory foods in your diet that will be adding strain to your immune system.

Further DNA testing can help us target specific areas that require support, by establishing your risk of inherited illnesses we can take measures to reduce these risks through diet and lifestyle.

Consultation

 

I help individuals heal themselves by eating the right foods and guiding them through small lifestyle changes that can make big improvements to their health. We work closely together to get to the underlying cause of any health issues. We discuss symptoms and look into medical history.

I ask for a detailed food and lifestyle diary prior to our first session in order to get a clear picture before we begin.

Together we create a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to help reach your health goals. For best results I recommend we meet every three months for the first year, a total of four consultations.

Additional diagnostic testing and natural supplemental support may be recommended based on an individuals symptoms.
